Time was relative for Albert Einstein. The quality of time is absolute for DAMASKO. In our family-run company this applied and applies not just to the time that every one of our employees invests in making our watches but also to our path from a materials specialist to veritable watchmanufactory.

This development began 24 years ago with a ground-breaking patent for hardenable stainless steels culminating in the completion of the first DAMASKO manufacture calibre named A 35 in 2010, which allowed our business to rise to the elite circle of genuine manufacturers. The base movement with automatic winding was soon joined by its just as ambitious “brother” with the H 35 manual winding movement in 2012. The current further developments of these two movements provide a production depth of up to 90 percent with the DAMASKO manufacture watches, which is anything but standard for the industry today.

Durable and innovative, accurate timekeeping and extremely robust – we have further developed these properties of our mechanical watches with more than 100 patents, utility models and registered designs over the years. The new materials that we have introduced to make watches play an important part in this. Starting with the nano-technology based coatings for lubricant-free escapement to our patented polycrystalline silicon spring. This material in particular doesn’t just make our watches extremely accurate at keeping time but also insensitive to magnetic fields and extreme fluctuations in tem- perature and pressure. It’s not without good reason that the Airbus Defence & Space test pilots in Manching have been relying on the DC 56 aviator from DAMASKO since 2007.

You don’t have to be a pilot though to wear a DAMASKO watch on your wrist. Besides their innovative quality and clean aes- thetics, the DAMASKO watches are mainly distinguished by their rare value for money.
