2025/2026
Launch of the DC89 GMT
With the DC89 chronograph, DAMASKO takes a step into a new dimension of watchmaking. After years of experience in case manufacturing, movement engineering, and specialized component production, combined with deep expertise in silicon technology, the DC89 GMT chronograph presents itself as a masterpiece of technical precision and timeless aesthetics. The watch is capable of displaying three time zones.
At its core lies the new generation of DAMASKO SIC-Spring silicon assembly, consisting of a silicon escape wheel and silicon hairspring, ensuring maximum rate accuracy and precision. This advances the new C51-7 chronograph movement to a new benchmark in durability and resistance in mechanical watchmaking.
But this is only the beginning. At the heart of the DC89 is a true world first: the chronograph features a second time zone (GMT) display at 3 o’clock, combined with a jumping central minute counter. Additionally, the display provides precise reading of hours and minutes from the center, along with central chronograph seconds and minutes. The date display is clearly positioned at 6 o’clock.
DAMASKO continues to develop its silicon components for in-house calibres, consistently pushing the boundaries of precision in mechanical watchmaking.
